Maintenance tips: Vacuum the rug weekly without using a rubbing motion. Avoid using hard brushes. Do not pull on any loose threads; instead, trim them carefully with scissors. In the event of a spill, act promptly. Blot the area with absorbent paper, then clean using a sponge or a soft cloth lightly dampened with water and a mild, pH-neutral soap. Alternatively, you may apply Sommières clay (a natural absorbent powder with effective stain-removal properties), allow it to sit for a while, and then vacuum it away.
